Created through the partnership of healthcare provider (Park Nicollet Health Services), an academic center (University of Minnesota Physicians), and a private practice (The Orthopaedic Center), TRIA's physicians serve the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, Timberwolves, Lynx, Wild, and University of Minnesota athletics -- along with Little League tykes, senior golfers and weekend warriors.

TRIA offers same-day surgery, orthopaedic clinics, direct digital X-ray and MRI, physical therapy, orthotics, prosthetics and prescription delivery from PrairieStone Pharmacy. TRIA opens with 135 employees and 23 physicians, who are expected to perform 7,000 surgeries and conduct 37,000 clinic visits during TRIA's first year. Created by architects Perkins & Will, TRIA's interiors feature materials and lighting to maximize healing - and incorporate feng shui concepts such as a 22-foot-long fountain, maple paneling, limestone tiles, and huge windows for natural light.
