Austin, Texas -- June 18, 2007 -- The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., (IEEE) the world’s leading professional association on the advancement of technology, today announced its flagship event the 19th International Engineering Management Conference (IEMC 2007) will be held in Austin, Texas.  The four day event, which includes the World of Engineering Expo, will bring more than 400 engineering and management professionals and academics from around the world to discuss key engineering management topics.

The IEMC 2007 agenda will focus on best ways to use the human side of creativity, innovation, and change management to address today’s issues of corporate revitalization and growth.  IEMC 2007 also features the World of Engineering Expo, an exhibition and interactive learning area showcasing new technologies, training and solutions.

The event, which enables participants to gain completion of annual CEU and ethics workshop requirements, has a packed agenda filled with inspiring keynote speakers, a host of tutorials on outsourcing, IP, and managing large complex projects, and an array of new research findings and applicable tools for more effective engineering management.

We are thrilled to offer a world class event for all levels of engineering interest,” said Dr. Tony Ambler, IEMC 2007 General Chair and Chairman, Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering at The University of Texas.   “This inspiring event is abundant with new ideas and new management approaches as well as networking potential.”
